Tim & Caitlin: 4-25-10 Whitestone

The storm clouds opened up to answered prayers for Stephen’s Wedding at Whitestone Country Inn last Sunday!  Tim and Caitlin were thrilled when they saw the photographs from their picture perfect wedding day.  Here is what they wrote Stephen:

Stephen,
Thanks for everything on Sunday at the Oyler-Shaffer wedding.  The photographic support was better than anything we could have asked for, and we appreciate you being there.  I didn’t keep a close eye on the clock that night, so let me know if I owe you anything extra for coverage that may have gone beyond the 5 hrs.  Either way, Caitie and I are going to send you something when we return from Hawaii.
Thanks again, and take care.
-Tim and Caitie Shaffer

Let me backtrack a moment, Stephen photographed their wedding due to an unfortunate circumstances.  Tim and Caitlin had another photographer booked, however, he fell suddenly ill and couldn’t do the wedding.  Stephen was the photographer that was referred from their previous photographer.  Stephen felt strongly that he should step in and fulfill (and exceed) the previous drafted contract with their photographer, at no cost.  Since the previous photographer fell ill, Stephen knew they would still need the money budgeted from the wedding to make due, so the couple would simply pay out the remaining balance to the contracted photographer.  What a beautiful gift from the heart!  It is amazing what our local photography community will do for one another, I’m so blessed to be part of this giving network of professionals!

I hope brides realize that when a circumstance such as this unfortunate one does arise, a professional photographer will take care of their clients and only refer another qualified professional photographer that they trust to take their place.

Please enjoy their fantastic photos!
