Sterchi Mansion Open House

Photography By Sabrina would personally like to invite you to The Sterchi Mansion this Saturday for their Grand Opening Bridal Show from 1:00-5:00.

Buddy and Linda graciously opened their doors for us a couple weeks ago and allowed us to bring several fantastic models into their new outdoor facility.  Just minutes from Downtown Knoxville, this prestigious wedding venue is a humble slice of Southern hospitality.  As I mentioned before in our preview post, the Sterchi Mansion was originally called the ‘Stratford’ Mansion and was built in 1910.  During the next several decades over 1000 acres of rolling lush land was added to the estate.  A perfect trifecta, regal white columns, timeless marble stairs, and an inviting porch equipped with rocking chairs, proclaim Sterchi Mansion’s southern flare.  The grounds of the facility are dappled in shade by three century old trees providing a perfect backdrop.  Gardens, pathways, ponds, and even horses are awaiting your ideal wedding!

Sterchi Mansion’s outdoor facility has plenty to offer, however a glimpse inside and you won’t be disappointed!  Step back through time as you walk through the beautiful doors into a grand hardwood foyer.  Beyond the inviting warm cherry pillars, golden walls, and timely decorations, the most beautiful room in the house tempts you to grab a novel and curl up on the hunter green vintage couch perfectly distanced from the warmth of the marble fireplace.  True to its Southern roots, the impressive dining room captivates your imagination as you begin to hear the piano sing out notes as the owners set the china to entertain.

A special thanks goes out to Always in Bloom for providing beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres for the fashion shoot.  As well as, Men’s Wearhouse for jumping at the challenge of providing not only tuxes, but also a male model for us last minute!  Both of these fantastic wedding vendors will have a booth at the Open House this Saturday, so be sure to swing by and see what they have to offer!  And last, but certainly not least, a big thanks to the wonderful girls from Salon Azure who modeled for us all day.  Faun Raiford-Davis, a Master at Salon Azure specializing in Color and Wedding Hair, took the time to coordinate and create all of the looks for us in the shoot.

Finally, onto the stunning photos from the Bridal Fashion Shoot!  Make sure you check out the video that captures all the moments throughout the day!

Check out my booth this Saturday March 6th from 1:00-5:00 at the Sterchi Mansion!
