I met Amanda and Josh over a year ago and was thrilled that their wedding is finally here! They are the sweetest couple and I feel so blessed to be a part of their special day. They got married at the beautiful Whitestone Country Inn on Oct 18th, 2009. Whitestone is a romantic getaway in Kingston, TN with a 200 seat Chapel of the Good Shepherd and the Lion & Lamb Conference Center sit atop a hill overlooking a majestic view of Watts Bar Lake, a beautiful setting for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Amanda and Josh had perfect blue skies for their outdoor ceremony under the pavilion as their seated guests look on. Whitestone makes wedding planning simple by offering services of a minister, musicians, wedding director, horse-drawn carriage, florist, and and their renown in-house food service. Amanda chose to have all the details in motion of her wedding story captured by Ryan Sutton of Ryan’s Production. Amanda and Josh had a blast as they danced the night away with friends and family with help from Jim Ogle with Ogle Entertainment. Looking for a professional musician or DJ for your wedding? Maynardville’s Milan Baptist Church was filled with love during Lauren and Jacob’s heartfelt ceremony. They decided to see each other before the wedding to get the pictures done quickly so they could go directly outside for their go-away shower of bubbles and birdseed. It was brisk, but beautiful day full of laughter. I had a wonderful time photographing these two! Lauren’s shoes were too cute with her new name scrolled on the bottom! Red Gate Farm decked out their tent to match Lauren and Jacob’s fall theme. We went over to their bright red barn for some fun and gorgeous pictures of the two of them! I love the contrast of the bright red and the crisp white of Lauren’s dress! Make sure you check back later to see their full wedding video recap!
Carrie and Chad were married at the Church of the Good Samaritan on Cedar Bluff with a beautiful reception to follow atRothchild’s Event Facility. What a fun fall wedding! A family friend put together the sweetest little cabin houses to decorate the reception. Rothchild’s had every mouth watering with the spread of delicious food set out before the beautiful fall leave themed wedding cake. Make sure you check out the video after all the pictures at the bottom!
October has certainly turned into one of the most popular months to get married in East Tennessee! You may remember Nicole and Brandon from their engagement session in the Old City a couple months back. Not only were their pictures beautiful, but I also used them as my ad in the August issue of Premier Bride! Their wedding was Oct 9th at the Historic Bleak House on Kingston Pike. It couldn’t have been any more perfect! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding in the gardens overlooking the river and then a dessert reception and a night of dancing! Make sure you check out both videos at the bottom. Nicole had her bridals done at the Bleak House as well, she is stunning! Faun with Salon Azure created Nicole’s up-do for both her bridal and her wedding.
Enjoy!

Stephen has been talking non-stop about how awesome Sara and Chris are. They were so laid back and up for anything! His images are fabulous! The wedding was at the beautiful Dara’s Gardens, a fantastic place to have host your outdoor dream wedding. Stephen took them around all the vibrant gardens then out to the barn in the back! Rothchild’s catering did the food and elegant cake, complete with mini Key-Lime pies. Make sure you check the video to see all the fun cake smashing pictures! Sara snuck in one last smash and Chris chased her around the back of the gardens to get her back! Their ceremony was very sweet, but the best man lost the rings!! Well, not really. he just handed over two Ring-Pops first! Sara’s expression was priceless! After a night full of dancing, they left through a shower of sparklers and into the night in a friend’s Mustang. Before they left, Stephen had them make their mark on the night by writing ‘Love’ with sparklers, how creative!!
Check out Sara’s Bridal shoot video from Dara’s Gardens a couple weeks prior to their wedding. She is stunning!

Fall in East Tennessee has always been a popular time for weddings. With milder temperatures, October has been a growing month for brides to schedule their weddings. However, UT football can be a big reason to book vendors as soon as the next year’s schedule comes out! This weekend is Fall Break for Knox County and UT so it is a weekend off for UT’s football team, a perfect time to tie the knot without missing a Volunteer Touchdown! Stephen and I both have weddings on Saturday and I have one more on Sunday that we are looking forward to. So congratulations this weekend goes out to all three couples! Also, take a good look at our newest “Downtown Knoxville” Engagement Signing Book that Stephen designed for Scott and Jennifer.
Here is Jennifer & Scott’s awesome sighning book for thier guests!
The book was printed at Express Photo Center, your local professional printing lab.
It is easy to escape into the rustic luxury of the Smoky Mountains when you stay at the Dancing Bear Lodge in Townsend, TN. Justin’s family own several McDonald franchises in the area. So when they were looking for a wedding location, the Dancing Bear Lodge was the obvious choice with all the natural beauty that surrounds it. I fell in love with the beautifully sculpted wood doors that give a dramatic contrast the delicate flow of Tessa’s wedding dress. Tessa and Justin’s groom’s cake was anything but ordinary! As tribute to his parents, they had a specially designed ‘Happy Meal’ box cake! Tessa couldn’t be more excited with the way it turned out.
